Help us fund a Police Dog for our Community!

The Port Hueneme Police Department, led by Chief Mike Federico, is working to acquire a second police dog trained to detect and prevent drugs—such as fentanyl—from entering our city. This new K-9 will work alongside our current police dog, Georgio, who is trained to detect weapons, bombs, and explosives.

Neither police dog is trained for attack. They are specifically trained to be non-combative and non-confrontational.

How You Can Help

We’re calling on local residents and businesses to support this effort. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to cover the purchase, care, and training of the new police dog.

To make a tax-deductible donation: Send a check payable to REACH, with "Police Dog" in the memo line, to

222 Morning Breeze Lane, Port Hueneme, CA 93041 or click down below to donate.
